In the wake of the recent “Greatest Top 50 Hip-Hop Artists of all time” Drama, it appears yet another Great Top 50 Rap Artist Controversy has surfaced. But this one a little more close to home should I say because it concerns me surrounding a recent Bay Area Top 50 Artist list I Co-Posted along with My Manager. And Yes it caused quite a bit of stir! However, there’s a few things You may have not known before you react/ed to the List:

1 ) The Artists were not in any particular order…while i honestly believe this caused most of the Stir Up. Fans and even some Artist Themselves weren’t too happy with the placement of where they were listed. But best believe the Name placement of the list is not from Greatest to Least nor Least to Greatest. But rather in the order the Artist literally ” popped” in our heads. Our Bad for the confusion. 2) Groups were Listed but got removed….we also got a lot of comments pointing out that no Bay Area Rap Groups were listed. However we had gotten even more responses advocating Rap Groups to be removed due the fact the primary focus is on Top Rap “Artist” not “Artists”. So for that point alone Group Acts were not listed. 3) The List was a Collaborated Effort.… as stated before, the list was co-wrote by Myself and Long time Friend and Manager Milli Ali. We went back and forth and actually named artist as they came to mind. But I Honestly at that time couldn’t name Fifty Artists, so Milli Ali filled in the rest. So don’t take it personal if you don’t see your name listed ( My Name ain’t listed ) it was almost like a draft list. A lot people also wondered why a lot of older Bay Artists wasn’t listed. I’ll admit we are not that old and tried hard not to forget or leave anyone out.

Lastly, although it may appear. But this is not the Official list. The purpose was spark and eventually comprise a finalized list of The Top 50 Notable Bay Area Artist to date.
